In ESSOMENIC, you play a Doctor that performs surgery on the memories of patients. Your task is to keep them alive in order to explore as much of their headspace as possible. For this, the Doctor uses retro, crude machinery to navigate their memories and dreams.

SURGERY, MEMORIES, CONSPIRACY

• Navigate a patient's memories; find their emotional attachments in forms of items.
• Communicate with the patient and explore their thoughts.
• Perform maintenance on any failing systems to keep the procedure running.

Controls

A mouse (or trackpad) and keyboard are required. Headphones are recommended.

Use A and D to turn when in a focused view. Alternatively, hover and left mouse click at the borders of your screen to turn.

W A S D for walking controls, as well as movement within certain equipment. Spacebar to jump, and hold Shift to sprint.

Use your mouse or trackpad to look around.

Interactable objects and equipment (highlighted in yellow) can be interacted with using E, and you can exit their focused view using Spacebar. 

Left mouse click to operate the equipment. You may also hover your mouse over certain objects, and then left mouse click to select them. 

Dialogue can be progressed by left mouse click, or the Enter or Spacebar keys. Dialogue options can be selected by left mouse click, or by Arrow Keys followed by Enter.
